         Sheet Metal Bending Software

ASMA 5.0 Software
A software package that after just a few inputs and drop box
selections produces all the relevant data about any given
 bend.

ASMA 5.0 will provide you with correct bend deductions, bend allowances, outside setbacks,
etceteras for your desired inside bend radius. It will consistently develop die width selections
capable of achieving the requested bend radii, this is after accounting for method, material type,
    type of bends, etceteras.

DOES NOT WORK ON VISTA

ASMA 5.0 will bring a consistency to the shop floor unheard of before !

  • 1) Works in Metric or Decimal.
  • 2) Access to full function scientific calculator.
  • 3) Built in web browser, pre loaded with important industry sites.
  • 4) The ability to find tools and data for off-set bends other than 90 degrees.
        using upsweep style off-set tooling.
  • 5) Develop "bump radius" data in a non-machine specific format.
Find optimum die width, pitch, depth settings, etc.
  • 6) Find minimum tooling height for deep box bending.
  • 7) Allows for the printing of all data

If, for some reason, the optimum die width selection presented by ASMA 5.0 is not useable,
ASMA 5.0 offers to compare (side by side) the data from "optimum" to the data created by the
new die width selection. For example, if you were coining or bottom bending, all of the bend
functions ( bend allowance BA, bend deductions BD, etceteras) would remain the same because
you are "stamping" the bend radius. Only the tonnage would change.

But... if you're "air-forming" a bend any change in die width will immediately effect all of the
bend functions. This is because your new inside radius is equal to a predicable percentage of
    the die width.

    Key Benefits

ASMA 5.0 quickly and accurately produces all relevant information about any bend.

ASMA 5.0 will bring a method of consistency to the shop floor unheard of before.

ASMA 5.0 aids new press brake operators in developing their craft.
